in the name of teaching veda

The game of guruism

It is nice to see that the young generation is moving towards Vedic literature. The market is full of fake gurus who are preaching wrong things in the name of vedas. This is an age -old tradition so it is our duty of every true sanatani to analyse the situation. The young mind is like a blank paper and any kind of written material results in disaster. The concerned person becomes a fanatic brainwashed follower. In most of the cases they're not even ready to check the received information in the name of blind devotion towards their own guru. Normally every human being is given 5 gurus by birth. Unknowingly or the vision of staying in the comfort zone stops a person from properly maintaining, respecting nature and gifted gurus.
You are invited to listen the experimented and experienced analysis on the word 'guru'.
(links of two live on the word guru is given in the comment. Please listen them.).

Western atheism, God, spirit, demon, etc do not apply on Vedic literature and Indian philosophy. Bhagvan and ishwar are different and God isn't the right translation. Discussion on these is present in the blog and the channel. Here the example of the word asura will be taken. It is taken as negative energy or negative quality. Whereas Adi Shankaracharya described it as extrovert person in the bhashya of Chandogya Upanishad. It isn't his personal interpretation but it is revealed in the upanishad itself.
Q - Why this word was taken here?

A - The river Danube was known as Dānubius in Latin (Dānubiī or Dānubī). Few took it as demon and even translated as asura. The lineage totally follows and defines philosophically when someone asks the reason of calling the river Danube as asura. The essence of their answer is, the river is the pure light and asura is the negative quality. And both are present in all of us. Whereas the river Danube is also known as Istros, Dunaj, Duna, Dunav, Duna, Donau, Dunăre.

Danu (Sanskrit: दनु, romanized: Dānu) is a Hindu goddess mentioned in the Rigveda as the mother of the eponymous race of Danavas. This translation needs to be analysed properly. Just on the similarity of the word Danu few equated it with the river Danube and others with the Celtic goddess Danu of nature and motherhood. In Ireland one can hear people calling themself as the children of that goddess. To prove the connection with India few claim that after the defeat in Das Rajan Yudh mentioned in the Rigveda, the king who worshipped Danu migrated towards Europe. The so-called gurus cleverly called danu as river goddess. That is why European rivers have 'da' in their name. None felt sorry to change the introduction of 'Danu' who was more like a family or community deity. She was promoted as the 'river goddess' which is totally fake.

Sanatan dharma is not based on any particular diet. Unnecessary chaos is created in the name of vegetarians and non vegetarians. Both are hindus. Indian saints who ate non vegetarian food are insulted by a few vegetarian preachers but that is wrong. It has nothing to do with spiritualism or atma gyan. Why can they not promote themself without insulting others? Globally there were many highly elevated saints who were non vegetarian and no one has the right to insult them. A true seeker won't do this.

The way in which non vegetarian hindus are hated is really shameful. If they leave Hinduism, who will be responsible? From the past few decades several people who pretend to be sanatanis are projecting Hinduism as totally vegetarian. Examples of Gita are taken where a food item is not written. When upanishads were written the consumption of fish and meat was common. Many temples of devi have non vegetarian food as prasad. Non vegetarian biryani is offered as naivedyam in the few temples of south India. People sacrificing goats also oppose this in social media. Few told me that they have to follow the trend. You can watch videos on this in my channel.

In this order to prove their own superiority and speciality onion, garlic, carrot, jackfruit are defamed by giving funny cause of their origin. Cooked stories of puranas are also not a proof since their contents are paratah siddha and not swatah siddha - their reliability depends totally on the verification. All the funny reasons goes against Ayurveda and old scriptures on agriculture products. One can listen the videos on this in my channel.

Regarding 33 koti devas upanishad is the only proof. Other childish reasons are meant for promoting one's own ideology without analysis. The upanishad clearly says about 33 departments. The word koti means shreni or vibhag or department in English. Unfortunately another meaning of koti which is crore became famous. Sanatanis are also promoting this. Other meanings are neither verified nor supported by the upanishads. Since there are various theories on the creation of the universe in Vedic literature one must use parameters to judge them and of course one must do the required sadhana. Now let's see few funny definitions given by the so called sanatanis :-
1 During the time when it was written the population was 33 crore.
2 A step further another fellow added few words in the previous point. The new version took bhagvan, ishwar as one and said one in every person. Like this the number was adjusted.
3 There are 330 crore gods.
4 Now comes the scientific reason. 33 denotes 33 vertebrae of the spinal chord and the nerves are the numbers. Few even divided the nerves on the basis of the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral regions of the spinal cord. 31 pairs of spinal nerves branching out from the spinal cord and two from the coccyx, or tailbone. They either avoided every query or started fuming. Since they believed their guru so others must do that. Only the number is common and one must start connecting it with spinal cord. Sometimes a mental disorder develops in the name of science and spirituality. This type of patient starts defining everything on the basis of science or spirituality. The most lucrative way is to relate with authentic Vedic literature without analysing. In fact there is no need to equate unmanifested (33 koti) with the manifested spinal cord and nerves.

In the name of mysticism many things are famous. Seeing patterns, figures, colours in meditation is often based on the upbringing where a child continously stays with that kind of literature. It is stored in LTM (long term memory) in the brain and slowly comes out during meditation or deep thinking where sub conscious mind starts playing the game of showing various things. These are often taken as true and books are not only written but promoted as the part of the Vedic literature.

On the other hand we see few common symbols, geometrical patterns present in various civilizations. The global similarity of the symbols isn't a coincidence or copy paste but spiritual revelation. The most common is shatkona or the star of David. Another is number seven. One must be careful while seeing the similarity. It must not be a case of 'somehow prove' concept
I have two posts on this.

Varieties of absurd views and interpretation are being promoted in the name of the vastness of veda. Personal interpretation is good for the concerned sampradaya / cult / free thinker and their followers. When it is related with the simplification of veda, prescribed time tested parameteers must be used to make it acceptable for the mass. Rishis of Vedic age gave the formulas to judge the authenticity of any scripture or commentary or any other form of presentation. Several sampradayas, modern preachers, free thinkers have sidelined them. Their lineage start presenting hypothetical approach as authentic. Though few talk about fake gurus but they themself are in that trap. For them initiation is the only thing needed. Most of the sampradayas have taken pauranic literature as authentic and older than veda. When children are taught like this they become brainwashed fanatic follower of this or that organisation. Others who are unware of the Vedic contents and run after them due to their reputation are also spoiled slowly.

Upanishads - An investigation - 3

The readers may see the post 'Gayatri - In the eyes of Upanishads'  which gives the view of Chandogya and Brihadaranyak Upanishad. It is really irony where those precious views were never promoted nicely.
Mundaka Upanishad (1-1-5) has kept Rig-Veda, Yajur Veda, Sam Veda, Atharva Veda, and other fields of knowledge in the category of Apara Vidya. Their fruit depends on Karma. One has to do something. Without application they are unable to give any fruit. In positive or negative way that is separate issue and while doing, one experiences that every work has got some fault and the fruit is also not permanent. Only the time period is more. The gainer suffers from fear of losing. He/she starts the game of manipulation. The person may be in any uniform, any colour, any chair, anywhere.
It must not be taken as a rejection of ritualistic part because this part is used as a sweet dish in order to motivate people towards the goal of the Vedic literature which is knowing, remaining in true identity and on the other hand performing the duty or swadharma given at any particular point and place.

In Paingala Upanishad, it is clearly stated, one who has tasted the nectar, water won’t give any separate satisfaction to the person concern. In the same way; one who has known his self, Veda won’t have any further use. There is no need to jump in the ocean of the scriptures. The knowledge of self is more than enough. Here, it means enlightenment and the thing needed is nidhidhyasan 'निधिध्यासन' or atmabhyasa where a seeker goes on purifying the mind and intellect which is needed because one stays in the behavior after gaining the knowledge. It is only at the level of information and needs experience or reformation in behavior due to the essence received by the Upanishads.

The rituals are not the final thing. This is the stand point of the Charvaka School. The phrase ‘person relates self with the body’, supports the idea of body is soul.

Other Upanishads sees this in positive, practical and spiritualistic way.

Taittiriya Upanishad 1.3.7: a person having uncontrolled mind is impure. It has nothing to do with the ritual of declaring a person impure (ashouch or sutak ) due to birth or death in the family. When somebody dies in the family other members are quite upset though they have seen this in other's family. It is totally ridiculous to stop them from not doing their daily puja or worshipping in their homes. There's a trend of proving every ritual in a spiritualistic way and this was also loaded with funny reasons. It will be a waste of time and effort on knowing them.
In the society these two issues are taken as the symbol of impurity. There are numerous do’s and don’ts imposed via these issues.

Maître Upanishad, 2.13.14: Inability to discriminate or delusion or ignorance is taken as mother and knowledge as son. The death of former and birth of later resulted in double sutak (impurity). The death means removal of ignorance about real identity. In the state of impurity, how can one perform the ritual? It is also a tradition to stop good rituals during the period of impurity. Taking sun as consciousness, it is further said; this sun shines continuously. How can on perform the ritual? According to the rules, 3 different phases – dawn, mid day and evening sun are used for performing ritual (sandhya upasana). In this, few separate lines are added to denote timings. When the sun is as it is, ritual can’t be performed. And this became the symbol of creating hatred towards females and people of so called lower caste as if caste is by birth, by forbidding them to chant gayatri mantra. In the name of reform few cults emerged and they allowed everyone to chant and perform sandhya upasana as if they were giving something from their own pocket or have got divine permission to allow everyone to participate in this. None showed the courage to place the facts hidden in the scriptures which were unbiased from starting and Upanishads had their own view on this.

The knowledge of self is above every ritual. The Bhagavatam, 11.19.4, supports this vision. It openly rejects undue importance given to, pilgrimage, chanting, penance, charity and other forms of noble actions. Other things are attached with nature. They’re related with the body level. The realization or enlightenment takes you above that. The general information regarding self is present in the human beings. The scripture is asking in firm belief and established in that. Before that, knowledge of self is body oriented. This angle is not a personal view but Adi Shankaracharya also said like this while writing the Bhashya on Brahmasutra.

Shrijabaladarshan Upanishad :
The one who stays away from the knowledge of self or one's own true identity which is truly holy place (in symbolic sense)  and runs after other holy places is just like holding a glass and throwing a jewel. All the holy places are full of mud, or water or forest or mountains  or their combination so their's nothing great. They may have worshipping symbols or provide peace due to their location but they aren't equal to the status of knowledge of self.
The one who stays with the knowledge of self which is without attributes or superimposed identity is real Agnihotri because there's continuous  oblation of ignorance which arises due to day to day behavior or contact with the world . This purifies the person and the knowledge is that fire which is needed to do demolish the ignorance which builds its own castle in the due course of time if not checked regularly.

Paramhansa Upanishad warns monks also:
There are cults in which, monk carries a wooden stick wrapped in saffron cloth. In some, it is not wrapped. Without being established in self, which is the real stick, wooden one is meant to fill belly.

Parbrahma Upanishad: According to this, knowledge of self is purest zikhA or lock. It is like a flame in which ignorance finishes its existence. The one, who wears it like a thread, is a Brahmin. Here, wearing means, established in self. The one may have knowledge of self but it isn’t necessary, he’s also established in self. That is why; scripture points this level separately. Naradaparivrajaka Upanishad supports this view.

Even the Bhagavatam, 11.18.17, says: silence is the punishment or stick of speech, doing work without being too much attached with return, is the punishment or stick of the body and breathing exercises (pranayam) is the punishment or stick of the mind. A monk having these three sticks is dandi swami (of cult mentioned before). Without those and having only a wooden stick can’t be the parameter of a monk.

Tejo Bindu Upanishad throws light throws light on, essence of Vedic Literature, in its own style. It throws light on the  terms of yoga philosophy. It is related with inner healing. A small introduction of first chapter is as follows:

Yama is that, in which one controls all his organs (of sense and actions), through the Vijnana that all is Brahman; this must be practiced again and again. In Niyama, a continuous flow of the same thought mentioned above, takes place and abandoning of thoughts  differing from one another is practiced. The worldly matters are not entertained. The person becomes cautious towards these feelings which take him away, from his goal. The scripture is not talking about the thoughts of worldly affairs because they also may flow in the same way. The difference will be in the topic. It will go on changing. In Tyaga (renunciation), one abandons the manifestation of the universe through knowledge acquired by study, reasoning and intuition. This is practiced by the great and is the giver of immediate liberation. In Mauna (silence), speech returns along with mind, is fit to be attained by the Yogins. By speech one can’t get that level. Making one’s vision full of spiritual wisdom; one must look upon the world as full of Brahman. That vision is very noble. It is (generally) aimed at the tip of the nose; it must be directed towards the level wherein the cessation of seer, seen and sight take place and not towards the tip of the nose. One may talk about Gita where this kind of thing is mentioned. It is not a fairy tale which can be followed in one strock or by an extrovert mind. It is pointing towards concentration and not on any physical posture.

The Pranayama (the mastering of breathing process) is that, in which control of mind through the cognition of Brahman in all the states of Chitta takes place. The checking the reality of, the universe, is said to be exhaling. The conception of ‘I am Brahman’ is inhaling. The holding on (long) to this conception without agitation is cessation of breath. Such is the practice of the enlightened. The ignorant person closes his nose.

It is really a pathetic situation where all the universities do not care about these definitions, while teaching yoga.

This Upanishad is helping in understanding the words used in the Patanjali yoga. Few words and their definitions are given above as examples. The demons also practiced them but they didn’t follow the meaning of the Upanishad. They followed the meaning which were meant for ignorant and totally extrovert person. To some extent, yoga techniques improve health conditions but that is not the aim of yoga. Though, it is taught in that way. The people who are trained like this have a tendency of being extrovert and nuisance for the society. By practicing decoded ones, a person can feel permanent change and a chance of become more human.

The scholars or students, who give total importance to shruti pramana or sabdapramana, do not care about the definitions of yam, niyama, etc given by the above Upanishad.

Brahmabindu Upanishad says: take the essence and leave the scripture. It’s just like taking grains and leaving hay behind. It is the lust which results in, feeling of bondage. The one, who is free from it, is liberated. There is no separate existence of bondage and liberation. The one must practice control of mind till it doesn’t dissolve within. When that event takes place, it is known as, knowledge and liberation. The rest is an expansion of scripture. Here, dissolve means, detached from attachment. The wise man extracts essence and leaves the book. It is just like after thrashing the crops; a person takes grains and leaving the hay behind.

The sadhanas for the materialistic, behavioralistic and spiritualistic progress mentioned in Brihadaranyak, Chandogya, Taitterya Upanishads are remarkable. None of them increases the issue of pollution and poverty of various types. None can say that these are not ancient Upanishads.

Just imagine the impact on the society if the above mentioned things were explained and included in the curriculum. All the Upanishads are not so complex as they are labeled and kept aside. Many of them deal with the style of happy management. The society of Vedic age was happy and progressive due to this.

Many people want to know about the details or the background of that happy life and these three posts will provide the required input. The Upanishads do not talk openly on every issue but give the required hint which can be followed by using the formulas. With this, read the posts on veda and Hinduism in the blog akshaywaves.blogspot.com
In short but brief this is available in Hindi in the blog akshayaharshudou.blogspot.com

Vedanta-- a show business.

https://images.app.goo.gl/mrTyaZbqtNWHj6dK9
(Analysis of Inapt Education - the book is available online. One chapter from that)

KNOWLEDGE
Brahman - one order of reality / world - second
order of reality / mix-up increases ignorance / state
of continuous mismaze.
knowledge removes ignorance / points real position
any medium can do that / Sanskrit - scriptures, not
the only source / no one has the monopoly
even thorns teaches tolerance / flora - fauna have no
expectation / river do not sign contract / air never
carries smell forever / nature is a natural guru / practical guru
learn from it / use your wisdom
a natural guru provided by almighty / do not follow priest craft
beware of guruism.

In the field of spiritualism trinity of devotion (bhakti), knowledge (gyan) and penance (vairagya) is essential. Here, penance is related with proper understanding of body and its requirements. The yoga darshan helps in this respect. The Vedanta helps in knowledge. It removes the ignorance regarding the superimposed identity. The practice of seeing the almighty in every aspect of life is devotion. It is taught by nature or circumstances. Without this trinity the total affair is a show business.

The removal of ignorance regarding  the real identity is the fabric of Vedanta. Everyone is familiar with the superimposed identity which is based on race, region, religion, language, profession, service, etc. The life passes in confusion and contradiction. The removal of ignorance is essential for surviving peacefully. A chronological development of training or thought process is essential to achieve the target. The person must follow the basic rules of Yoga like control on using the sense organs and organs of action. After following these things, the person can easily digest the teachings of Vedanta. Without these, the person may become a good orator or author and after being initiated, can get name - fame but his internal growth will not take place.

When a person talks about jiva and Ishwara as same, a question rises in the mind. The jiva or the common man can't do those things which Ishwara can do easily. He may create dream world but after waking everything goes away and for that knowledge of vibhutipad chapter of yoga darshan is needed because power needed for creation comes from that. The ancient sages were expert in these things. Rishi Vishwawamitra could create things and the deities were afraid of him. While searching, one can get many examples. The current discussion is on Vedanta so that side will be dealt afterwards. Therefore, there must be coordination of various dimensions to understand, digest and apply Vedanta. Without these, a person remains a parrot or simply an orator. In the name of teaching, he'll be dependent on grammar or rejecting other schools of Indian philosophy. The teaching becomes a show business or simply a medium of earning bread - butter. In some cases it has been noticed, the orator or the teacher is a practitioner of sadhanas mentioned in yoga darshan and have acquire power but he rejects sadhana aspect while teaching Vedanta. A person may not be interested in the power obtained by these sadhanas but basic practice is necessary. They help in controlling the behavior.

Now, let us enter into the main topic which is connected with the methodology of teaching Vedanta. It is creating a regiment of extrovert followers. They become attached to this or that guru or organization. They are unable to work jointly. A type of competition develops between them and in the name of non - dualism, attachment increases.

A truth inquirer coming from abroad devoted three years, in studying Vedanta. The person said,'I'll not join show business teachers class. Vedanta is not a business but I met few teachers during my stay and found, they were more interested in the number of students and personal name and property via teaching Vedanta and Sanskrit. I think they are not right teachers. How can I find truth from them? This kind of philosophy can't help people except me. I find god in others. He does not exist in the textbook. I can read the characters and have a free will. I am not a product. I am a human. They are training students to get more money from the society.''

Akshay was neither surprised or shocked. Have already gone through courses in Hindi and English. In many places management or head monk was forced to appoint good looking orator because they were not ready to take the risk of giving their platform to others. Their audience may not like the speaker and they will loose the market. Here, management or the monk can't be blamed. The audience also want a good looking orator. It happens more in the case of those cases where rich class is attached with the organization. A chief executive officer of an organization said, ''I am totally familiar with the abortion cases of our one center but we are not taking any step. We give time for improvement.'' In another place a person in top management said, ''money is not a problem. Once you start teaching and students start coming, money also come. If you ask for five you'll get fifteen.''A judge in Mumbai also said, '' I am surprised to see the number of swamis involved in different cases.'' In the dining hall of an organization, a person saw a commentary on Gita on a table of another person. As soon as he knew the author didn't belong to their organization he said, ' our swamis have a clear vision.' He gave a nasty look and his body language showed as if he has touched an untouchable object. A person may like - dislike a particular author but there must be some internal growth. It is essential in the field of spiritualism. one swami gave his example and asked me to be careful. He said, ' when I started studying, there was slight problem with digestion. Some medicines were given. After few months the same problem started. Slowly - slowly, problem became permanent. Then one day, injections were given. The side impact was intolerable. Now, the situation is, I have to take lot of medicines and follow precautions for survival. I wasn't like this when I was admitted for the course.' This is not the only example. There are many. Several students are treated in such a way, students become dependent on the organization. They have to dance on the tunes.'

Akshay is familiar with the actual position. This post is not meant to malign the image or wash linen in open. It is just an eye opener for them who are mesmerized by the teachings of different organizations and start behaving like a fanatic follower. Instead of converting a home into a monastery they convert a monastery in a home. Instead of running their profession or business in s spiritualistic manner they convert spiritualism or Vedanta in a business.

The so called vedantists talk about non dualism but most of them are not interested in its application. At that time they take foolish examples for highlighting dualism like difference in dealing with different organs of the body of behaving with public and other things. The transactional reality is of separate domain and subjective reality is another. When nutritious food shows its impact on the health then knowledge of self will show in the behavior. There's no need to hide personal lust  behind the curtain of non dualism. All of them are worried about the number of students and mainly foreigners if the course is in English.  It helps in getting good donation and afterwards if any student leaves there's no problem. The management is attached with the sell of books,CD, expansion of the organization at every cost, etc.

The mentality of plurality is quite high. They do not teach on the basis of the commentaries of other organizations and not only that, other scriptures of Vedanta are also not taught. The common reason-- it is neither written by Adi Shankaracharya not he's written commentary on this - Astravakra Gita, Hans Gita, etc. The yogvasistha is left due to its volume. In order to prove personal level, they do not hesitate to write a commentary on them but teaching is not allowed. Therefore, the level of the written work remains hidden. The total teaching of Vedanta runs around the work of Adi Shankaracharya- as if Vedanta was discovered by him. What kind of teaching is this? Vedanta can be taught without the help of Sanskrit, grammar or a specified group of scriptures.

The unbaked vedantists are spreading hatred towards each other. The game of corporate culture is played openly. Their various dimensions have been discussed in the book- The Guru to Guruism. Here, emphasis will be on the type of the society created by them. According to the scriptures, demons had the knowledge of self and many were good orators. The names of Hiranyakashyap, Shambrasur, Vritasur, Ravana, Prahalad and Bali are present in the scriptures. Any interested reader can consult Puranas and Yogvasistha. Now, don't say, they are not present in Veda. This is idiocy. The consoling advice given by them comes under Vedanta teaching.  Ravana gives to his queen Mandodri when her son Meghnad dies. Hiranyakashyap says to his mother and to the wife of Hiranyakch. It happens when Hiranyakch was killed. Vritasur and Bali preaches Indra in the battle field. Therefore, anyone can be a teacher of Vedanta. The required thing is the nature or conduct for which a person gets praise. This is the parameter of Brahminhood as mentioned in the Yaksha samvad in the epic, The Mahabharata.

When a person goes to a teacher for the knowledge of self which is free from superimposition, in the absence of factual facts, he becomes a prey of any cult or organization. Everyone needs office staff or a regiment of fanatic followers. On one side they will say, everything is mithya or false but on other hand, personal organization is true and working for that is seva (service). This must be done because it has removed the ignorance. This is not the required aim of Vedanta. One more false notion is promoted via teaching--- Brahman is one order of reality and the world another. Their relation can only be known by scriptures or shrutis. The teacher is only interested in priest craft or guruism. It is the eyes of wisdom which reveals the actual position. Even Adi Shankaracharaya supported this. He used the word viveka or the mentality of analytical analysis. It is really a pathetic situation where his followers are following something else. With this personal interpretation is highlighted under every circumstance. A student must be trained in using the power of wisdom. Here, role of scriptures are not negated. Even the vedic literature does not promote itself as the final medium of knowledge. When the knowledge is required to remove the ignorance then it can come from any source. No one has the monopoly on this.

Veda means knowledge. Which knowledge? The one which is time tested. Every branch of knowledge is time, place and object bound. The change in technology brings the change in scientific theories and thinking. Even in the field of social  science and literature change takes place from time to time. The thought process or behavioral pattern demands a new dimension for application or writing. All these are the examples of time bound knowledge. The place bound knowledge depends on the information about the place. The reliability depends from case to case. In the media or in the text book or in a traveler's opinion a place is described from their angle. The text book may not reveal the actual position of a region. It can be easily seen in the case of geography books. The media is also interested in marketing -- it may be sponsored or for personal rating. In both the cases sensation and marketability plays the dominant role. The object bound knowledge depends on the knowledge about the object. The object and place bound knowledge depends on the time factor. It is the time which changes the view regarding place or object. Therefore, the knowledge which is independent and time tested becomes the essence of Veda. It is the supreme knowledge. It unfolds the identity of an individual. It shows the difference in the superimposed or attributed identity and subjective reality. The former increases the complex related issues. Whereas latter helps in accepting the role of others in shaping the life. It is in positive or negative manner-- that is another issue. Therefore, the word Veda must not be limited to any particular book. It will only satisfy a region or religion. Even Veda itself is not fanatic about its definition.

The teaching of Vedanta promotes freedom and shows the way of survival in this life. It must not be used as a tool to hide lust and settle accounts. There is no need of promoting it as a career prospect medium because it will invite all the loopholes of materialism. There must be some difference in the degree course on Vedanta and the subject taught by the monks.

The way in which it is projected, it seems as if, a group of Upanishads are thev only source of this subject or responsible to remove ignorance.  Charvaka came when he was needed. Gautama Buddha came when he was needed. Adi Shankaracharya, Jesus....came when they were needed. This process is still working. None of them is the last guru or preacher. Why? The founder has a vision. His teachings suffered the stroke of depreciation. The followers start playing their game. Therefore, another preacher or prophet is needed. Normally he opposes the view in order to remove the impurities. How they are projected in the society, that is another issue. That is related with the game of dirty politics.

If we see the example of the teaching of Buddha, Pali Canon only appeared in writing several centuries after the passing of Gautama. The Mahayanists claimed to have access to a whole set of teachings which had not yet been written down. How can these historical claims can be believed? There was enough time to twist the meaning. They do not match and more focus was on to develop it as a different religion. Above all, a verse or two can't be used as a mode of rejection or support. One must study the available material and try to match the teachings. The loopholes if any, can be detected. The urge for name, fame, bread - butter forces the common mind to do various things. The Indian philosophical schools are tuned with the thought process. The sutras of all the 9 established schools are present in the Vedic literature. They were not named separately. When they were classified under different heads for studying or understanding purpose, problem started.

There is no need to search the exact words or phrases of sutras or principles of schools of Indian philosophy in vedic literature. One must apply the art of extracting the essence. The formulas are mentioned. One can not use the formula of physics to judge the chemistry, so the way of checking contents must be according to the subject. Vedic literature is open on this issue. The teachers do come but there is the difference in the quality. Some are interested in creating the division and promoting issues. The quality suffers due to the ratio between teaching and follower-ship. Therefore for renewing the teaching, a new preacher is needed to oppose the manipulated version. The interested reader may follow the link. The book has thrown light on this issue.

The avatar of Gautama Buddha is mentioned in Bhagavat Mahapurana -10.40.  If one wants to follow that, he must have broad vision. Suttanipat -  292, 322, 458, 846, 1059, 1060, etc., all are tuned with Vedic literature. His importance was not taught and he was rejected in the name of Vedanta. To create the division it was made famous, Buddha did not endorse any metaphysics, Vedic or other. The later forms of Buddhism integrated a lot of metaphysical theories from outside. The other group said, Buddha burnt the Veda. These views are blasphemy and nothing else.

In new testament disciples asked Jesus about his - difficult to follow examples. The reply was - not meant for everyone. True, if one has the urge- ground is ready, will try to take the essence. For others it will be a story or a matter of time pass or a means of earning. They will only listen for listening purpose and after telling the essence or hidden meaning, wont follow. The same thing can be said about Vedic literature. One must have the urge to know the truth and stop thinking of teaching by completing the course. During a course, brainwashing is done - things are projected to prove the supremacy of one ideology or school of philosophy. it happened with Gita. This technique is used in the courses of Vedanta. It becomes compulsory to reject others. The teachers normally laughs by saying, ''this is also right, that is also right. All of them say the same thing. This thinking is wrong. It means you are still ignorant. You must come to shastras and study properly.'' For them, shastras denote the commentaries of Adi Shankaracharya and  the books written by their guru. None of the Upanishads rejects any kind or level of thought. Vedanta can be taught without rejecting others view. On one hand they teach, Brahman is the ultimate truth and one must feel his presence everywhere. On the other hand they oppose the sadhana aspect which helps in that feeling.

  PSEUDO VEDANTIST - 1
You've done courses / you've taken courses / became expert in
author craft / gone through libraries / how much has gone though
you / name via teaching Vedanta - Sanskrit / still running after
fame / enough with jugglery of words, ornamental phrases,
stupid jokes / you're behaving like a promoter / marketing personal
view / worried about expansion / corporate culture dictates
your expression / do not hide lust, promote unfulfilled desires.
many have gone, many will go, many will come / no one is the
final teacher / no one is the only feeder.

Food - a short but brief note

Food - a short but brief note

The consumption of the food is based on the physiological and psychological needs of a person concerned. These two factors combine with one another which is clear by the example of tea and coffee which are taken as a part of the life for an addict person who can not think of a day staying without them (tea and coffee). The idea of keeping them as a refreshment is one thing but marketing them as the main source of providing energy is another. On the basis of the physiological factors nutrients like fat, carbohydrate, protein, vitamins, minerals, water and fibre are needed in various combinations on the basis of region, climate, season, age, profession and maturity of the person concerned. When the emotions start dictating the terms in the case of consumption of food various disorders comes on the surface. A person either starts taking any particular item as a medium of relieving from stress, anxiety, depression, anger or do not pay attention towards the actual needs of the body and for the time being relaxation may be felt but it develops addiction towards that particular item which is not a symbol of healthy lifestyle. The same rule applies during happiness when consumption is done for the celebration and in both the cases of sorrow and happy ‘gormandized’ situation is noticed where hunger, addiction and craving are united. On the other hand the idea of three square meals has nothing to do with the metabolism but the mind takes this as a rule and start following it without analysing the situation. Therefore a person is sandwiched between emotional eating and the teaching of three square meals for all. The physiological needs are either overlooked or not properly followed due to the lack of education and emotional eating plays the dominant role in such an ugly way that a psychological need is taken as the real need. And the market goes on injecting the idea of ‘lacking’ in which a person starts thinking that he /she lacks this or that thing.

The concept of food is normally taken as the thing consumed by the mouth but the Indian thought process expands that vision because the external world is felt in the form of sound by the ears, touch by the skin, seeing by the eyes, taste by the mouth and smell by the nose. They are taken as the food of their respective sense organs combining in various ways to give physical, mental and intellectual well being. Any type of abnormality in their combination results in health issues. This broad vision helps to understand the pattern of consumption and impact of food on the body. When one says that a body reflects the quality of the food taken, it is related with all the five categories of food mentioned above. In the case of other creatures the number of sense organs may be less but the all of them taken together shows the health of the particular creature. In the case of unicellular organism also everything is not dependent on the consumption by the mouth and other factors also have a role to play which automatically proves the vibration of other sense organs. Though their might not be any fixed shape or place of other organs but their vibration can felt by various work done by an organism.
This presentation is focussed on the relation of the types of food with human being. If we see the global situation the food related issue can be broadly divided into two categories where on the one side there is over consumption, wastage, craving and on the other side one can see under consumption or malnutrition. The history of the human civilization has seen the era where pollution was not a great issue and there was no need of green revolution or organic farming or hybrid crops, etc. Whereas due to the industrial and other types of revolutions immense pressure on food production, preservation and types of pollution as an unwanted ‘gift’ is felt. When one sees the position of drinking water throughout the globe the situation isn't healthy. The level of ground water is going down at an alarming rate. Though one talks about organic farming but the polluted air and water is used for that in many places. On the other hand wastage of prepared food during festivals and unplanned distribution of crops in under privileged areas is increasing the number of hungry people. More or less everyone is familiar with this stuff then what's new in this paper so that it may be useful for all. Now comes the importance of the view mentioned earlier.
There is no item which can be termed as totally bad or good for the human consumption as seen in the case of milk which is prohibited during stomach disorders. Modern medical science also confirms the impact of emotion on the food consumed which arises due the input received by other sense organs and the fruit of action done by the organs of action. And like this both the group of organs behave as a medium to serve the mind which is the ultimate enjoyer of the fruits of action involving sense organs and organs of action. Therefore the psychological needs are governed by the mind. The physiological needs are governed by the stomach or in the other words when a person really feels hungry and is not bothered about the taste or the decoration of the prepared food which do not negate their value but avoid the tendency of highlighting them as done by the restaurants and advertising agencies while dealing with the junk food. In this regard one remembers Dopamine which is a happy hormone and when the brain is unable to tolerate the level it starts behaving in an odd way. The confectionaries and bakeries are busy in using those chemicals which are helping in increasing the level of Dopamine or those neuro hormones or neuro transmitters which results in the increase in the sales and harmful impact is noticed in the increased level of craving for confectionary and bakery items due to the false signals given by the brain. It helps in increasing obesity and other health problems.

Various types of diet plan fails due to the lack of tuning with the actual needs of a particular body which changes due to the emotional status and the environment of the concerned person. In fact the concept of balanced diet is more or less imaginary which do not match with the ground reality. Most of the diet plans do not deal with the control on emotions so they are unable to meet the needs of a particular person in the long run. The short term benefit is marketed to attract more customers but sooner or later health issues repeats itself and the society runs after a new diet plan.

The success of any diet plan depends on all the categories of food consumed by any normal human body, upbringing style and the psychological needs of a particular body. The over consumption or craving for any particular food item taken as a remedy to solve the problem of stress or irritation or anger or depression donot have a positive impact on the health of the particular person who falls in this trap.

The educational system must focus on the issue of craving, wastage and over eating. The student life is a construction period where proper guidance in this respect will help them in future. The areas which can be useful in this regard are breathing exercises or pranayam, yoga, way of eating and drinking, training about the combination of the types of the food and their items, regional and seasonal needs. When a particular person is trained in anyone or more areas mentioned, the life becomes happier than before. For example the way of eating must be monitored regularly. Due to the complex lifestyle food is eaten quickly without chewing it properly. And the water is also swallowed as fast as possible. There's an old saying which asks to drink the food and chew the water. The food must be chewed so that it mixes with the saliva present in the mouth nicely and comfortably reaches the stomach. On the other hand the water must be taken sip by sip and swallowed slowly. It is better to keep the water in the mouth for a second or two before swallowing. When chewing and drinking done properly the consumption and wastage is controlled which in return increases the savings of the person following this rule.
When we talk about impact of climate change on the problem of food we must include the issues mentioned above.

While dealing food shortage we talk more about funds or donations or diverting funds for handling this issue but it often goes in the domain of part time business where major portion of the money is misused. Collection for feeding human and other creatures is also a part time business in many places.

Wastage of food can be controlled if one understands this the actual and assumed need which is controlled by market. Unemployed, idle mind, higher level of stress or happy hormone also adds to the problem in many cases. And the problem of hunger can be handled properly. For feeding one must know the inner system of the body. Only full stomach policy can't be useful always. Actuall need of food may be less. Proper education is also required in this case. Just by distributing food packets everywhere, everytime will increase the problem.

A poetic view - my new poems

                    Do listen

       Rumors rules rationalism
        raises rumpus so often
        reverence nor reliableness
        reaches any ear, o dear
        senses following senselessness
        loosing own fragrance
nothing to cherish or cheer, o dear
we hear what we want to hear
        Beware, for thine sake dear
        lend me thine ear,
        change this year
        settle every loose affair.
         Dear, be there
         listen without fear
        hearing brings sneer
        have something to cheer
         hearing, no more dear
         set thine paradigm dear
         light own Jeer, ohh dear.

                  Right is right?

Right! right!! right!!!!
is right always right
can wrong be right
relative is every right
right can be wrong
wrong can be right
is seeing always right
is perception always right
is hearing always right
is intuition alone right
is intellect alone right
keep your belts tight
who will win this fight
comfort zone says right
rat race says right.
 chaos confusion is on rise
cunningly defines right
cleverly defines right
was that also right
it gives you a nice flight
others indulge in fight
sponsored stuff wasn't right
marketed always as right
syllabus said it right
popularity isn't always right
followed by many as right
circumstantial evidence,
microscopic assessment,
charging army of ifs - buts,
using mask for rights,
were they all right?
why Akshay says so
Is he in our lobby
he is in whose lobby
nothing profitable in profile.
drar, Akshay is not there
in the work he is present
start reading the eyes
use thine inner eyes
easy to understand right
easy to define right.

helps in becoming house
can become a home
house and home
both can become a tree.
pastime, leisure, residence
observance, work space on a tree
always above ground
 learn from trees
behave like a tree
course is not free
first look after the tree.

                      Poetry

Simple collection of words?
wrestling of thoughts?
flow of raw rotten rubbish
unhealthy, unbaked thoughts?
every expression, a poem?
prose - poetry mixture, a poem?
fake positivity a poem?
only intellect a poem?
only intuition a poem?
only reporting is poem?
Dear reader,
tune thine thoughts
avoid thine mine
use hearty intellect
language won't matter
neither culture will stop
nor the distance create hurdle
every barrier will break
you will understand what poetry is.

           Rattling and symphony

Freedom of speech
 freedom of creativity
free thinkers now do not think
free from thinking
 thinking a bondage?
 analysing outdated?
 rattling a symphony?
sound is in both
whichever you like most
upbringing shows the path.
Media platforms keeps busy,
under one roof as a family
silent symphony
every member in own world
mine fan, thine fan
keeps the family busy
new form of family.
Is that the symphony?
now
more freedom
more choice
more rights
every revolution for tights, right?
and duties?
thine right, mine duty
mine right thine duty
check your inner symphony
family needs sharing caring
duties- rights go hand in hand
do you listen or hear, ohh dear.

Grand looking new vine
