Sat and asat
In Satpath Brahman asat is explained as rishi creation or prana shrishti

असद्वाsदमग्रsआसीत । तदाहुः कि तदसदासीदित्यृषयो वावं तेsग्रेsसदासीत्तदाहुः के तsऋषय इति प्राणा वाsऋषयः ।
The gross material created is said to be sat and the preceding stage of energy is termed as asat. Others take Brahman as sat or pradhan and prakriti as asat. The problem arises when the definition given by any cult overshadows the concept of ancient scriptures. Anything arising from human mind will have options. The followers of another cult will say prakriti as sat which can be seen in the literature of shakt or shakti cult, tantric tradition, few branches of yoga and devotion which is based on promoting name and form. Actually they can't take themself as asat so in the order to save personal lust they hide behind the curtain of own hollow ideology. In fact these people have taken body as a soul but they won't admit easily. After all every sadhana is body oriented and a work of avidya or prakriti where place, person, portion, period plays an important role.
The prana shrishti is a type of adjective whose survival depends on the sat or the gross material. It is quite difficult to digest because in this concept one's own pampered and tamasik ego based on comparison is injured.
